I was inspired the other morning to mix up this body scrub as I was cleaning up some Epsom salt and I caught a glimpse of roses from my anniversary in October. They’ve been drying for months and I had no plan for them. My empty essential oil bottles had been diffusing their final essences into Epsom salt (the reason for the salty mess). Side note, this is a brilliant oily hack I got from a friend awhile back. (Place Epsom salt into a container with a lid, take off the lids and orifice reducer to your oil bottles, and position the bottles upside down in the salt. The lids can go in there, too. Place the lid on the container. Let the bottles diffuse for at least 24 hours. Never let one drop of oil go to waste!) And my skin was also dry from our recent cold, dry snap. Then it all hit me, a delicious rosy body scrub would do the trick. I got to work crunching up the rose petals right away.
